Meet Alec Parker
Alec Parker is a marketing and business growth specialist. From a young age, he has always been fixated on numbers, structures and solving problems for people.
After growing up on his family farm in Saskatchewan, Alec took a leap of faith and moved to Victoria to start a new chapter of his life. Once arriving on the west coast, Alec knew he had found his new home as the healthy lifestyle, friendly people and amazing fishing fit his active and progressive lifestyle.
Alec spent his first few years in Victoria working in the home service industry and going to business school. During his time in school, Alec made many amazing connections, but none as important as the one he made with Andy. Alec saw a great opportunity to put his passion for business and problem solving to the test. Together, Alec and Andy embarked on the journey to create Brilliant Brothers Services.
Alec is extremely passionate when it comes to improving and learning new skills. This has lead him to become an expert in his field. Alec is now a leader in the pressure washing and soft washing industry in Victoria, and has passed his knowledge and skills over to his team, who continue delivering them to every customer they serve.
When Alec is not helping his crew and working on the business, you can probably find him on a boat fishing, walking his dog, in the gym or spending quality time with his amazing partner Amanda.
Meet Andy Wild
Andy has 10 years of experience in the exterior cleaning industry. After originally applying for a window cleaning position to pay for college, Andy has offered his *brilliant* cleaning skill set on over 7000 jobs in a decade.
After 7 seven years, Andy went on to create Brilliant Brothers Services with his ‘brother’ Alec Parker to fill the need and requirements for *brilliant* cleaning services in Victoria BC. Through long days, meticulous cleanings and a lot of ladder climbing, Andy was able to implement an organized, state-of-the-art system of precise cleanings and attentive service.
With his enthusiasm for customer communication, quality, before-and-after cleanings and overall attentiveness to detail, Andy felt as though the only way to offer *brilliant* exterior cleaning work, was to begin his own exterior cleaning company with Alec.
Andy resides in Victoria BC where he enjoys writing (and publishing) fantasy novels, adventuring to new locations, journeying through dungeons and dragons’ campaigns, playing chess, working out, healthy/active living and cooking.
Dan Appleton
Sales Manager
Originally from Vancouver’s New Westminster area, Dan brings warmth, wit, and curiosity to his role as Sales Manager at Brilliant Brothers. If life had gone differently, he might be floating in space as an astronaut, but these days he’s perfectly content meeting people and exploring some of Victoria’s coolest homes. Avid about video games, Dan spends his downtime gaming, hanging out with his fiancée, and perfecting the ultimate meal of chicken, rice, and broccoli. He doesn’t watch sports, but he does have a favorite movie: Kung Pao: Enter the Fist. His personal motto sums him up perfectly: “You can do it with a smile or you can do it with a frown, but no matter what, you’re doing it.”
Mario Jaramillo
Production Manager
Mario grew up in Colombia, a place where passion and flavor flow like coffee. He brings that same energy to Brilliant Brothers, tackling challenges with creativity and a knack for problem-solving. When he’s not solving puzzles at work, he’s exploring the outdoors with his family, flying drones, or navigating boats like a seasoned captain. He’s also a Platinum-ranked League of Legends jungle main, which means if you’re stuck in the weeds, Mario will get you out. Add in his love for pizza, football, and Back to the Future, and you’ve got a teammate who believes every day can be an adventure… preferably in a DeLorean.
Keiran
Wash Division Lead
Kieran calls Victoria home and has the rare talent of moving each eyeball independently, which he swears is both a party trick and a superpower. His dream jobs range from race car driver to Pope, which makes sense once you see how fast he gets through a workday. Off the clock, he’s wrestling his dog, eating Pacific sockeye salmon rolls at Chiba Sushi, or quoting Django Unchained. His favorite team is the Tune Squad from Space Jam, which sums up his vibe perfectly: work hard, have fun, and remember, “If you ain’t first, you’re last.”
Sam
Window Division Lead
Sam is from Alliston, Ontario, and yes, he really can solve a Rubik’s Cube. If he wasn’t here with us, he’d be globe-trotting as a professional traveler. When he’s not working, Sam’s probably catching up on sleep, demolishing a slice of pumpkin pie, or laughing with his teammates. What he loves most about Brilliant Brothers is the camaraderie — it’s all about the people. His motto says it best: “Excellency in all things. Living by faith through grace.” Translation: if you need him, he’ll be there, ideally well-rested.
Ethan
Field Tech
Ethan grew up in Edmonton and once conquered a hot wing eating contest at the age of 11, which explains a lot about his grit. If he wasn’t here, he’d be up in the sky chasing his dream of becoming a pilot. Outside of work you’ll find him at the beach or cheering on the Oilers, often with his dog, who he proudly spoils. Ethan says the best part of Brilliant Brothers is the fun people he works with. His motto is simple: “I work hard so I can spoil my dog.” And yes, the dog fully approves.
Thomas
Field Tech
Thomas comes from Te Aroha, New Zealand, and brings Kiwi charm with a side of adventure. He once spent afternoons boogie boarding down river rapids, and still dreams of being a boat captain or fishing guide. Outside of work, Thomas loves scouting out new swim spots or indulging in his one true weakness: cheese. What he appreciates most at Brilliant Brothers is having the time to finish jobs to a high standard. For Thomas, satisfaction at work fuels morale, and his life motto says it best: “Hakuna Matata.”
Seth
Field Tech
Born in Edmonton, Seth is the guy you want on your team… just don’t play cards with him. He can “cheat” at any card game, though he insists it’s a skill, not a crime. If he weren’t here, he’d be in the octagon as an MMA fighter. When he’s not working, Seth’s probably hiking or watching his favorite film, Fantastic Mr. Fox. What he enjoys most about Brilliant Brothers is working alongside his crew. His motto? “It is what it is.” Which is another way of saying he’ll roll with anything.
Andre
Field Tech
Andre was born in Penticton, BC, but spent much of his childhood in Dubai, where skyscrapers and supercars sparked his lifelong love of speed. If he weren’t part of the Brilliant Brothers crew, you’d probably find him behind the wheel of a NASCAR, chasing that checkered flag. Off the clock, Andre loves working on his car and hitting the golf course. His go-to food is pizza, his favorite movie is Forrest Gump, and he roots for whichever NASCAR team is winning — as long as it’s not Ford Performance. What he enjoys most about Brilliant Brothers is the camaraderie with his teammates and seeing clients smile when the job’s done right. His favorite quote sums it up: “If you ain’t first, you’re last.”
